I'm Raheleh and this is my story
Creative and multitalented UX/UI Designer with demonstrated experience in creating and translating user insights into delightful user experiences and align them with business goals. Over 100-classroom hours wire framing, designing and developing UX experiences from the University of California – Irvine. Accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments with an emphasis on working with the budget requirement. An excellent communicator, project manager, planner and team leader. Comprehensive understanding of XD, Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress, Illustrator and web technologies. Experience in human centered design, user experience, usability, interaction and visual communication. In-depth knowledge of prototyping and understanding and communicating with product managers and team members provide me to design solutions for users. Also, I would like to join a creative team of UX/UI designers.
How I got started in user research
I started with moderating sessions, observing user behavior, asking them questions to learn. In order to improve identifying patterns of user behavior, I enhanced my knowledge.
I learned by using experimentation what practices are best and seeing what worked and what didn’t. From all practices that I have done, I understand that there is not a certain way or same formula for all different projects and I desire to learn what is the best for my users.
What I've been working on
To become a better designer, I have been practicing and learning individually and as a teammate in a group. Design is like the practice of discovering the problems and create solutions for them. To start thinking “creatively”, I learned UI principles including color, balance, typography, etc. The next step is to dive into four distinct phases — Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver. Next, I train my eye to see good design and bad design and to identify strengths and weaknesses in designs. The latest projects I have been working on are redesigning, branding and creating the design for applications like modern traveler, holistic life style app and Day0 App!
What I'm curious about
Based on design thinking, I enjoy the opportunities that this field provides me and my users. There are many possibilities to improve the users experience. I am excited to stay current and ahead of the latest advancements and development in technology .
Keeping up with changing patterns and applying those new skills keeps me excited. My profession is not passive, and everything moves at a rapid pace. I thrive when faced with challenges and overcoming problems to achieve a great user experience.
My Inspiration
I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to my parents who were both teachers and taught me how to be patient interacting with people.
Being a creative dress maker, my mother taught me creativity by how one can make a dress using different pieces and putting them together for an ultimate beautiful project!
Also, I learned how to produce and share science by working on my thesis at university, which was about knowledge acquisition from experts.
